Financial Aid
We understand the commitment and sacrifice that our families make to ensure their child receives a rigorous, Christ-centered, academic program through enrollment at High Point Christian Academy. We know this decision is not one that is taken lightly, and we are humbly honored in your interest in our school community.
Choosing a school is a big decision, anyway you look at it. The right school will encourage your child to succeed and enrich his/her understanding of God. We know “…that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). Ultimately, our hope and prayer is that God guides your family to make the decision that will best help your child grow in his or her faith and knowledge of Christ.
We are happy to review and discuss our tuition and fee structure with you personally.
Please note: Tuition covers most costs, including books, accident insurance, K-8 testing, HS PSAT/pre-ACT tests, and facility usage fee. All HPCA families must establish and use an online Tuition account. Tuition payments (10-month or 12-month) begin June 1.
Tuition does not include lunches, after-school care, field trips, yearbooks, athletic fees, PE uniforms, AP exams, HS online courses, HS Technology fee, K-8 resource services, senior fees, etc.
The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act has expanded the use of 529 plans (pre-tax savings for college tuition). Starting in 2018, individuals can take up to $10,000 in distributions annually from their 529 plans to pay for private school tuition and books through 12th grade. Seek the advice of your tax professional prior to making any decisions concerning 529 plans.
Opportunity Scholarship Program
High Point Christian Academy welcomes students who are recipients of the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship Program.
The NC Opportunity Scholarship is a state-funded program offered through the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority (NCSEAA). This income-based scholarship award ranges from $3,360 up to $7,468 per eligible student, per academic year.

Education Student Accounts (ESA+)
The ESA+ scholarship, awarded through the state through a lottery system, awards eligible students $9,000 - $17,000 towards tuition costs for students with qualified special needs.

Up to $5,000 is offered to both First Responder and Military eligible families.

Duskin and Stephens Foundation (DSF) Scholarship
Limited-opportunity offering $9,000 ($3,000 per year for 3 years) to eligible students of military families.

HPCA Pastor Discount
In an effort to support Pastors and Military Chaplains, HPCA is honored to provide a tuition discount (TK - 12th grade) to full-time pastors and military chaplain families who meet the qualifications of our Pastoral Discount Program. A Pastoral Discount Form, requested from Finance Director, Angie Fary, must be submitted to verify Church/Military Leadership. This discount does not apply for our Preschool programs.
Green Street Baptist Church Member Discount
All current HPCA families who are active members at Green Street Baptist Church are eligible for a once-a-year $450.00 tuition discount per student (TK-12th-grade). Families must be listed in the HPCA FACTS Family Portal as a GSBC member to receive access to this form. Contact Angie Fary for questions. This amount is subject to change.
Blackbaud Tuition Aid Information
We believe that if it is God’s will that your children attend a Christian school, He will make a way. This may sound a bit cliché, but it’s true. It may mean unexpected income, such a raise at work, or it could mean learning to cut back on certain expenses. The opportunities for provision are there. Our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50), and he owns the hills, too.
High Point Christian Academy does not offer merit (academics, athletics, arts, etc) scholarships of any kind. All assistance awarded through High Point Christian Academy is in the form of needs-based financial aid. In order to qualify for financial aid, you must apply for assistance through Blackbaud Tuition Aid.
Our third party Financial Assistance Administrator (Blackbaud Tuition Aid) individually reviews 100% of the need-based tuition assistance applications from families. Parents must apply for tuition assistance each year through an online application process that requires tax returns and additional financial documents.
