A Message from Elementary Leadership

In the classrooms and hallways of the elementary school, our heart is to provide a quality education where faith and learning go hand in hand. In the various developmental stages from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade, we strive to nurture every child’s spiritual, academic, emotional, and physical growth.
Our dedicated teachers pour into our students an understanding of the world through God’ eyes, inspiring wonder, creativity, and a joy for learning. Classrooms are filled with opportunities for exploration, problem-solving, and collaboration. Each day, students are encouraged to grow in confidence, character, and faith as they discover the unique gifts God has given them.
Beyond academics, every grade level participates in mission projects and community service, helping students cultivate compassion, integrity, and a heart to serve others. These experiences allow children to see the impact of living out their faith in practical ways and to understand the joy of serving their community.
At HPCA, we partner with families to equip students to thrive in today’s world while making an eternal impact for Christ. Through chapel, character-building programs, and day-to-day interactions, students are challenged to grow spiritually and to demonstrate the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control).
We invite you to explore our Elementary Division and experience the joy, curiosity, and faith-based learning that make HPCA a place where children come to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, love learning, and enjoy serving others. We look forward to welcoming you and your family into our HPCA Elementary community.
Serving Christ,
Mr. Scott Prohaska,
Assistant Head of School and Elementary Principal
At HPCA, our Elementary Division provides an exceptional educational experience that combines academic rigor with a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Each child is encouraged and challenged to reach his or her full potential, cultivating a lifelong love of learning and a foundation for success in all areas of life. Our dedicated teachers are not only experts in their subjects but also passionate mentors who inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in every student. They employ a variety of teaching strategies, hands-on activities, and modern technological resources to meet the unique learning styles of each child, ensuring that no student is left behind.
Beyond academics, our students flourish spiritually, emotionally, and physically. At HPCA, education is more than memorizing facts—it is about shaping well-rounded individuals who think deeply, act compassionately, and live boldly for Christ. Our teachers model the love of Jesus daily, nurturing inquisitive minds and joyful hearts. Every classroom integrates biblical principles into the curriculum, helping students view the world through the lens of God’s truth and teaching them to make wise, faith-filled decisions.
Service and character development are integral to our elementary program. Each grade level participates in mission projects that encourage students to live out their faith by serving others. These projects may include supporting local charities, assisting children in need within our community, or sharing joy through music and visits to nursing homes. Through these experiences, students learn empathy, responsibility, and the joy of giving, reinforcing that their education is not just for themselves but for the Kingdom of God.
Our students also benefit from a broad range of special classes, including Technology Lab, Media Center, Spanish, Physical Education, Art, and Music. These classes provide enriching experiences that spark creativity, build practical skills, and support holistic development. For students with musical talent, private lessons in piano, voice, or guitar are available during or after the school day, offering opportunities to cultivate their gifts and perform with confidence.
HPCA Elementary also offers a variety of after-school clubs and summer day camps, providing additional opportunities for enrichment, fellowship, and fun. Whether students are exploring robotics, athletics, the arts, or outdoor adventures, they are encouraged to grow their talents, develop teamwork, and form lifelong friendships.
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to equip students not only to excel academically but also to make a meaningful impact in the world. At HPCA, every child is guided to integrate faith and learning, preparing them to navigate life with wisdom, integrity, and a heart for service. Our graduates leave our elementary program confident, capable, and inspired to live boldly for Jesus Christ, carrying the lessons learned at HPCA into every aspect of their lives.
