Zach Eanes, 2012 graduate, attends UNC-Chapel Hill and writes for the school newspaper. His first article was published on Sept 23, 2013 in The Daily Tar Heel entitled, “Profiles give glimpse into dogs’ brains”. Read his article.
Morgan Johnson, 2013 graduate, displayed and sold her paintings at City Lake Park at “Day in the Park”. Morgan was awarded Best in Show. “I enjoy painting with acrylic paints and an abstract style. I plan on entering more local art shows in the future and hope that my paintings will continue to bring inspiration to others.”
Caroline Harding (2013), student at UNC-Chapel Hill, recently contacted HPCA teacher Joel Smith to review notes from her UTT class as she sought support and assistance in a class on Archaeology and the Dead Sea Scrolls. Caroline took Understanding the Times (UTT) from Mr. Smith while at HPCA. This course helps our students develop their biblical worldview and equips them to defend the gospel.
