Wise Walking Warrior Verses

  • I will guard my heart: Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you. Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm. Do not swerve to the left or to the right. Proverbs 4:23-27
  • I will think eternal: Set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For your died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:1b-3
  • I will resist evil and draw near to God: Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:7b-8a
  • I will battle secure in my position: For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nore demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
  • I will be wise in my treatment of others: Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:12-13
