ACSI DISTRICT SPEECH MEET

 

HPCA had 22 fifth grade students participate in the ACSI District Speech Meet

at Calvary Baptist Day School in Winston-Salem. 

Superior Rating:  Will Collson, Alexa Dickerson, Ben Hardee, Ansley Hendricks, Lauren Kuhnly, McKenzie Mathis, Rachel Norris, Garrett Rieschick, Emily Waite

MISSIONS WEEK  

  The elementary school raised $1,009.29 for students in Haiti that were displaced by the earthquake.

 The whole school (K-12) raised over $3,500!

Multiple boxes of items were collected for Nicaragua.  The items will be used for Vacation Bible School and Soccer Camp.  The Good News will be shared with many children.  The medical team and other workers traveling to Nicaragua will put their clothes for the trip in a backpack.  All the supplies will be taken in their luggage!

"BUILD-A-BOOK FOR OTHERS" 

Families gathered to make books for children who have few material things.  They socialized, snacked, worked and bonded with their family while creating a treasure for other children.


 CANNED FOOD DRIVE

Thank you to all the Elementary Students who brought canned food.  Working with The Community Resource Network, all canned goods were divided among 8 organizations to serve the needy in High Point.
