Cougar Football

Summer Camp 2008

            We are excited to offer the first ever Cougar Football Camp this summer, designed for students entering grades 4^th through 9^th who wish to learn more about the sport and have fun in the process. 

Who:           Administered by the HPCA Football Staff

                   Open to students entering grades 4th through 9th

When:        July 14, 15, 17 and 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30

Where:       North Field, High Point Athletic Complex (click here for map)

Cost:           $60.00 per participant

       Activities will include:

·       Learning how to throw a football

·       Learning ball handling skills

·       Learning basic pass routes and how to catch a football

·       Drills for all offensive and defensive positions

·       Exposure to special teams including kicking, punting and receiving kicks and punts

·       Learning basic football terminology and techniques

·       Good-natured skills competition

·       Flag football tournament on final day
