HPCA EXPO - On Friday, April 24th the H.P.C.A. EXPO will turn 10 years old! H.P.C.A. EXPO is an acronym for Heritage, People, Cultures and Arts EXPOsure. EXPO day is a day of hands-on learning and EXPOsure in each of those areas. Classrooms come to life as local artists, crafters and historians share their expertise and talents with our students. The day will begin with a dramatic performance by Bright Star Children's Theatre entitled "Once Upon A Time". Students will then rotate throughout the day to various age appropriate presentation areas, followed by an afternoon assembly featuring a mascot parade and a gymnastics exhibition by Tumblebees Ultimate Gym. To commemorate the 10th birthday of EXPO, students and families are invited to a birthday festival in the parking lot immediately following school from 2:00 to 4:30. The party will feature a castle jump, live music, visiting artists, balloon twisting, and $1 kettle popcorn and fresh lemonade. Admission to the birthday festival is free. The 10th edition of the H.P.C.A. EXPO is made possible by the school's Parent Teacher Fellowship and the High Point Area Arts Council.
